COME - According to Scripture, every believer is to be an active part of a local church. Gathering together with the body of believers in worship, prayer, study of the Word, and fellowship is a vital part of our lives as Christians. The Bible is clear when it says in Hebrews 10:25 that we are not to neglect the assembling together of believers.
GROW - God never intended for any of us to stay spiritual babies. In fact we are commanded by scripture to grow up and take our place of service in the local church and body of Christ. But we will not do that unless we grow. Spiritual growth comes two ways. First through personal study and prayer, and secondly through corporate study and worship. Scripture makes it clear that your spiritual growth depends upon both these elements. That's why you need to be here!
SERVE - A mature Christian is a Christian that lives to give. As we grow we see this wonderful transformation in our spiritual lives. We no longer see church as a place that exists to merely benefit and bless us. We see it as a place we can come and give to benefit and be a blessing to others. In Matthew 20:27-28 Jesus says we are to follow His example and serve others. There is no greater love than this!
GO - Mark 16:15-18 tells us that we are to "go into all the world and preach the Gospel." This is a mandate for every believer. Each of us has a "world", a sphere of influence made up of friends, neighbors, relatives, coworkers, etc. Our mission is to go into "our world" with the good news of the Gospel. As the Body of Christ we are His hands and His feet. We are His representatives to a world that is crying out for the reality of God.
